Scholarship Application and Award Process

Scholarship Application and Award Process

Step One: Submit your application and supporting materials.

Step Two: Your application package will be reviewed by the Scholarship Award Task Force. The task force reviews applications on a quarterly basis.

Step Three: The Scholarship Award Task Force awards scholarships quarterly, based on availability of scholarship funds. The task force reviews the application packages and renders a decision based on the candidates' eligibility, essay question answers, and letters of recommendation.

Step Four: Within ten days of the end of the calendar quarter in which you applied, you will receive an "Accept" or "Denial" scholarship letter.

If you are denied, you may reapply at any time. If you are accepted, you may apply for another scholarship cycle and you are eligible to receive more than one scholarship; however, prior acceptance does not insure future acceptance.

Scholarship award decisions are based on the number of available scholarships and on the pool of applicants and their eligibility, essay question answers, and letters of recommendation.

Step Five: Should you be awarded a scholarship, the approval letter package will provide instructions on how to use your voucher and to what programs the voucher applies.
